Research focuses on sustainable landscape design, installation, and management. Other areas of research include plant development and selection, water quality, and water conservation.
General Areas of Interest:
Primary interest is the study of urban landscape horticulture systems that promote sustainability and mitigate urban stress on existing or planned landscapes. Other areas of interest are provenance selection of native landscape material and non-native plants adapted for low input landscapes.
