Great Gardens and Horticulture of Scotland and England

You are invited to join us for the first horticulture study abroad program in many years as we travel to the beautiful Great Gardens of Scotland and England. Dr. Curt R. Rom and Ms. Michelle Wisdom will lead this 3-credit hour course. The course carries degree credit for the HORT major and minor, the LARC major and minor, or general elective credit. The study abroad experience is open to anyone. The only prerequisite would be at least one class in horticulture, landscape architecture, crops/soil/environmental science, or plant biology - general knowledge of plants and horticulture.

Program prices are being finalized and may vary with participation.

Estimated Cost:

  • Program Cost: $4100
  • Airfare: $1800-$2000
  • Study Abroad Fee: $300
  • Tuition (3 credit hours) $950
  • Any personal expenses

The program fee includes housing (double occupancy, single occupancy option available), 2 meals per day (breakfast and lunch, except weekends), ground transportation each study day, bus passes in Edinburgh and London, all admissions, and a closing night banquet.
